    We understand that moving into a new home, finishing renovations or leaving your current home can be a very stressful situation. That’s why we offer move in/out cleans, post construction cleans, spring cleans, and estate cleans, we focus on making these transitions easy for our customers. Our Merry Maids of Victoria team will not only give you peace of mind, but we will also help you to relax, so that you can spend more time with your family and personal priorities.
  • On-call Service:
    This type of service is ideal for people who cannot commit to a regular service frequency due to their schedule or other reasons.
  • Value Added Services:
    Merry Maids of Victoria goes above and beyond your traditional cleaning service by offering customized cleaning programs that can relieve you of your more strenuous household chores. We are always hiring great people!

Are your team members trained?

Our new team members go through an intensive 2-3 week training program. Once they complete this initial training, they sharpen their new skills by working with a top performing team captain until they are prepared to become a captain themselves. We also continuously train all team members after the initial training period so we can effectively implement and manage new best practices, equipment, products and supplies.

Are your team members bonded and insured?

Yes, all team members are insured and bonded by our local insurance agency. We provide injury, liability and accidental breakage insurance. When you hire Merry Maids of Victoria, you won’t have to rely on your homeowners insurance for protection against injury or damage.

We’ve made sure that the appropriate protection has been put in place if something should happen during your cleaning. Our team is professionally trained, screened and bonded, so that you can feel confident about letting us into your home time and time again.

Have your team members completed Criminal Background Checks?

Yes, all team members have completed and passed a National Criminal Background Check, passing this is a requirement for employment.

Do you sell gift certificates?

Yes, we sell gift cards. You can purchase them online, follow this link, or you can call or email our office (250-598-6243 or info@merrymaidsvictoria.com) and we would be happy to help you give THE GIFT OF CLEAN.

How much do you charge?

We individualize cleaning services to you and your home. Nearly 30 years of experience has taught us that every home is as unique as the people living there.

The price to clean your home is based on many factors which include the size of your home, style of your home, the frequency of service, clutter, pets, flooring types and usage of the home.

Typically for a potential customer looking for regular service we provide a free in-house cleaning consultation. A trained professional will come to your house and meet with you in person, so that we can customize our cleaning services to suit your home. Our free cleaning consultation is just one of the many advantages of choosing Merry Maids.

We also have the ability to charge you for time spent in the home, this situation is not optimal for regular service but works very well for one-time cleanings or on-call cleanings. The best way for us to create a customized price for these types of cleanings is for you to contact our office by phone or email. We will walk through the home and your specific needs with you over the phone, allowing us to come up with an idea of how long it will take and we can price the clean accordingly.

Do you use Green Products and Equipment?

Merry Maids of Victoria understands the importance of keeping a clean home and environment. That’s why we use specially formulated and Green-Certified products in every home that we visit. Our vacuums meet the Carpet and Rug’s Green Label certification and we use a broad selection of microfiber products, which requires less energy to wash and dry and improves indoor air quality.

We also work hard to ensure that all of our promotional materials are printed on recycled paper. Lastly, Merry Maids of Victoria has put forth an effort to reduce our carbon footprint by enforcing more efficient travel routes when visiting our valued customers.

Do you do carpet cleaning?

We do not clean carpets but our sister company ServiceMaster of Victoria will be happy to do this part of the job for you.

Do you customize your service, considering every customer has different needs?

Yes, we offer customized solutions for every one of our customers. From one-time cleans to regular service, our sales team will create a customized cleaning service that suits your needs and your budget.

Do you bring your own equipment and supplies?

Yes, we bring everything that is needed to clean your home. All we need is access to your home and we will do the rest.

Do you clean exterior windows?

Currently the only exterior windows that we clean are the outside of any entrance/exit doors such as sliding glass doors, balcony doors or windows on a front or back door.

Do you do post-construction cleans?

Yes, we are able and trained to do light post-construction cleans. If you are looking for someone to remove dry wall etc. we are not the right company for you. If you are looking for someone to make a recently renovated/built suite, room (i.e. kitchen) or home shine, then yes, we are the company for you.

Will I have the same person in my home each visit?

We make every effort to ensure that one of the two team members who serve your home will be there during each visit. If for some reason your team changes, our office staff contacts you beforehand to see if you have another team preference or if you would rather change your scheduled day so your favourite team member(s) can service your home.
